Helen is a fundraising consultant at Orchard Fundraising, offering over 18 years of experience,
specialising in grants fundraising, alongside appeals, legacy, corporate and major donor funding.

After graduating from the University of East Anglia with a BSc Hons degree in Environmental
Sciences, Helen worked at the Environment Agency before becoming involved in fundraising for a
voluntary group - a real nappy network - of which she was a member.

 

In 2004, she became a project worker and chief fundraiser for the network, and roles at the National Youth Advocacy Service and Shine followed.

 

She has worked for her local Wildlife Trust for 11 years, working her way up to Head of Fundraising.
 

Helen has two grown-up children and two cats. In her spare time, Helen enjoys fitness classes, running, music, pub quizzes and supporting Southampton FC.
